Pau Garcia

Director at Domestic Data Streamers and Professor of Elisava School of Design & Engineering

Pau Garcia is a media designer and founder of Domestic Data Streamers. Since 2013, the Barcelona-based studio has researched and produced immersive “info-experiences” and GEN-AI projects for institutions such as the United Nations, Barcelona City Hall, and Citizen Lab. Garcia is chair of the Master in Data in Design at ELISAVA University. It is a guest lecturer at the SVA in NY, the Hong Kong Design Institute, the Royal College of Arts in London, and the Barcelona School of Economics.
In 2021, he founded HeyHuman!, an artist residency program that combines music, journalism, data for art research, and social justice. He typically doesn't speak in the third person.

Teresa Franqueira

Designer and Professor at Universidade de Aveiro
Teresa Franqueira, Associate Professor at the University of Aveiro, is a designer and has a PhD degree in Industrial Design and Multimedia Communication (2009) at Politecnico di Milano. She is the International Coordinator of DESIS Network – Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability and Member of the Executive Board of Cumulus Association (a global association of Design and Art Schools). She is also member of several scientific committees in national and international Design Conferences and jury of international design competitions. She teaches across Europe and Asia and has been the local coordinator of Erasmus + projects for social innovation, circular economy and sustainability. Teresa has been invited as a keynote speaker in national and international conferences and has organise several workshops worldwide (Italy, Portugal, Sweden, UK, Finland, Brazil, China, Turkey, Cambodja, Thailand, Myanmar, Malasia, among others). She has been supervising PhD and Master students within the topics of Design for Social Innovation, Design for Sustainability, Product Design and Service Design.

Ala Nunu

Animation Director and co-founder of COLA Animation
A Porto based Polish director and illustrator specialising in 2D animation, co-founder of COLA Animation international production cooperative, guest lecturer at UAlg (Faro) and PJATK (Warsaw).She has experience directing and art directing TV series, social campaigns, music videos, and short films. Her portfolio includes Universal Studios, Frank Sinatra Estate, The Atlantic, and OnBeing. Her short films have been screened at festivals such as Animafest Zagreb, Bucheon International Animation Festival or Annecy. As an animator, Nunu has recently worked on films such as the Oscar nominated Ice Merchants and Slow Light.
